Elect
David Ziegler
Independent for
Doing what’s right for the people of Seneca County.
Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
About David
A lifelong neighbor, not a career politician
I’m a lifelong resident of Seneca County, born to Paul and Dorothy (Beeler) Ziegler, raised on a farm in Bloom Township and graduated in 1987 from Mohawk High School. I work at Schilling Propane as a Delivery Driver, Service Tech and Sales Associate. I’m married to Judy (Peer) Ziegler, and live in Eden Township where I’m a three-term Trustee.
I am running as an Independent, and as your Commissioner I will ensure that every resident has a voice in the decisions I make, decisions that will serve all of Seneca County, not just the few.

Priorities
What I’ll fight for
I’m running to help residents realize the potential of our county and to bring back that sense of pride into all of our communities.
- Give every resident a voice and address concerns fairly
- Improve local infrastructure with a practical, hands-on approach
- Bring a business-minded approach to the county budget
- Increase transparency and accountability in local government
- Support first responders and public safety
- Cut wasteful spending to keep taxes as low as possible while maintaining services.

Township record

- Improved the safety and condition of roads
- Upgraded and placed road signs where they were needed
- Replaced and added needed equipment, and sold unused and worn-out equipment
- Used allocated funds to upgrade the township maintenance facility
- Invested grant funding in a new community park to enhance the township
- Stood with residents and initiated resolutions that helped keep wind turbine projects out of Eden Township and Seneca County
- Maintained fiscal responsibility while improving Eden Township and helped create a surplus in its budget.
